The kids had a good weekend, but it was mostly running for us. Saturday morning was a service project for TJ for Boy Scouts. He had to be there about 9:00. By that time, I was on my 3rd load of laundry. After dropping him off, I cleaned out the garage, then had to run Emily to a birthday party at Kate's Skate. We got her there at 1:00. Twenty five minutes to get home, and then I had to turn around an hour later to go get her. I drove for 100 minutes total for her to go to a party that only lasted 120 minutes. Then TJ had an Eagle Scout ceremony to attend at 3:00. Sunday, Tyler had a birthday party to go to at Pump It Up. We got home at 1:30, and Travis went to go see his mom. He got home at 6:30, and he started grilling bratwurst. Then came a phone call. He had to leave again to meet a guy about selling his bike. When he got home, he said he lost a cap in the parking lot where he was, so off we went to go find it. We told Emily that the kids could all have the bratwurst while we were gone. When we got home, this is what we saw....

Pretty sure it isn't safe to let your toddler sleep with a fork, but I'd have to look up the statistics. And you think we're gonna let you sit for Dane, Emily?! ;)
